Lo nuestro
1. Lo nuestro being our thing, being what’s ours, being what we (and only we) understand, not as in private property but as in belonging, belonging sideways, finding our way into belonging and making community, being in existing communities, or all of the above. 2. Lo nuestro being a monthly poetry series with a lineup of poets of color. 3. Lo nuestro being organized by Raquel Salas Rivera and co-hosted by a different poet each month. 4. Lo nuestro being regular but not fixed; having a rhythm but not uniformity; changing time, not just within time but making time new.
